Manufactured in 1943 as part of Remington-Rand's first issued serial number block. Fixed sights, with the Syracuse address and "P" on the slide and the "FJA" inspection mark on the frame. Fitted with a flat-top rear sight, checkered hammer, slide stop and thumb safety, stamped trigger, long grip safety, serrated mainspring housing, unmarked full-blue magazine, reinforced Keyes-Fiber grips, and a High Standard barrel. Included with the pistol is a reproduction Kraft-style box with a matching number and military nomenclature, canvas lanyard, and an "L" screwdriver/pin punch.

Excellent, with 97% of the original parkerized finish, showing some light scratches and tiny spots of bright rubbing overall, along with a few patches of brown patina. The grips are also excellent, with a few light dings. The reproduction box is near mint, with mild wear and stains. Mechanically excellent.
