NC - FINE- All original finish 90% - 94% or better, some dings in wood wear commensurable with percent of finish. In working order.

Description:

Manufactured in March, 1945 with blade front and peep rear sights with locking windage drum and "BATTLE RANGE" marked elevation drum, a Springfield "3 45" dated barrel (March 1945), Springfield bolt, hammer, safety, trigger group housing, operating rod, and a smooth pistol grip stock with a circled "P" on the wrist, faint Springfield boxed inspection mark, partial arsenal rebuild mark, and a crossed cannon cartouche on the left side. Includes a green canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 98% of the original dark gray/green parkerized finish, scattered light handling marks, and faint traces of mild edge wear. The stock has been lightly sanded and oiled with faint though visible markings, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
