The barrel is marked "S.A./flaming bomb/11-18". With fixed blade front and folding ladder rear sights without the volley notch. The front receiver ring is marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/MARK I" over the serial number. Mounted on the correct Mark I style straight grip stock, with a recess below the ejection port for the Pedersen Device. One piece walnut stock with grasping grooves and full length handguard. Marked with an unboxed "RA-P" Raritan Arsenal rebuild mark, as well as the standard circled "P" acceptance stamp on the underside of the wrist. Fitted with a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor. Disconnector sear and unique cutoff are all present.

Fine as arsenal refurbished with 85% plus dark gray parkerized finish remaining. Displaying areas of mild high point and edge wear, handling marks overall, numerous scrapes and dings on the nose cap, crisp markings. The stock and handguard set display moderate sanding marks, shallow grasping grooves, small dings and pressure dents and worn markings. Mechanically excellent.
