Manufactured c.1944-1946, the Reising Model 65 is a blowback operated semi-automatic designed to emulate the weight and sight picture of the U.S. M1 Garand Rifle and was used by the United States Marine Corps as a training weapon. Winged blade front sight and Redfield peep rear sights, with the Worcester address on the barrel and "D" at the breech. A Redfield base has been installed on the receiver, with a Weaver Model 330 scope in a set of twist-off rings. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock and a green canvas sling, and includes a standard 10-round magazine.

Very fine, with 75% of the original gray finish, showing areas of brown patina and mild handling marks. A few scuffs and dings are present on the stock, with an instruction sheet for managing the sights taped to the right side of the buttstock. Optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.
