This revolver has the mixed numbers and components typical of the Artillery variants. The frame dates to 1891 and was inspected by Rinaldo A. Carr and has the three line patent marking followed by a "US" stamp on the left side. The underside of the barrel is stamped twice with the letter "P" followed by David F. Clark's inspector initials "DFC." The cylinder also has "DFC" inspector marking. It has the standard style sights, later style ejector rod head, and bordered knurling on the hammer spur. With a 1999 dated receipt from David Condon, Inc.

Rating Definition:

Very good as restored. The revolver retains 70% of the refinished blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There are a couple of areas of light pitting at the muzzle. The frame has faded to a smooth gray. The grips is fine with a elongated gouge and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
