Matching serial numbers are found on the underside of the frame and lower tang. Mounted on a 12 groove round forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. The period factory crate has the iconic Winchester made in the U.S.A. marking in red on the lid. A four-piece cleaning rod sealed in a cloth pouch is also included.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The rifle retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is an area of minor pitting on the buttplate. The wood is excellent showing some minor pressure dents and scratches and retaining most of the finish. Mechanically excellent. The crate is very good.
