Manufactured circa 1943. Hooded ramp front sight, filler block in the rear sight slot and a bolt mounted peep sight. Standard Winchester barrel markings. The Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with a walnut forearm with metal forend cap and pistol grip stock with quick release sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate. Comes with a Winchester marked brown leather military style sling.

Very good with 60% faded original blue finish remaining. The barrel has been lightly cleaned and shows light oxidation. There is some thinning to gray on the receiver, as well as bright edge wear and some minor scratching. The wood has been lightly sanded and refinished and remains very good with some scattered minor scratches, dents and dings. The sling is good showing some wear and staining, and heavy verdigris is on the brass. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
