Manufactured in 1951. Hooded ramp front, folding two leaf rear and Lyman receiver (without stock cut-out) sights, receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting, late safety, straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to the gun, sling swivel studs and standard Winchester factory markings including the oval proofs on the barrel and receiver and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. Nicely figured straight comb pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, Winchester hard rubber grip cap and solid Winchester recoil pad. The Winchester box is numbered to the gun.

New in box. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish showing a few light handling marks. The lightly sanded stock is excellent showing a few scattered minor handling marks and retaining nearly all of the finish. The checkering is crisp overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with most of the labels remaining.
