Manufactured in 1956. Hooded ramp front and folding adjustable leaf rear sights, standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, straight receiver tang, late safety, polished bolt numbered to the gun and sling swivels. Mounted with a checkered high comb pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Comes with the Model 70 bolt and sight alignment hanging tags and factory box re-numbered to gun.

Very fine with 98% blue on the barrel and receiver showing a few minor handling marks overall. The stock and trigger guard are refinished with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent.
