Manufactured in 1936. Standard Winchester markings including factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, hooded ramp front sight, unmarked filler block in the rear sight dovetail slot, Redfield receiver sight (stock cut-out), pre-war safety, polished bolt numbered to gun and checkered pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The barrel and receiver retain 95% of the original blue finish showing mild muzzle wear, a few scattered minor scratches and a series of small dings on the underside of the barrel. The trigger guard retains nearly all of the professionally restored blue. The buttplate retains half of the blue with the balance thinning mostly to a brown patina. The near mint restored stock has crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
