Description:

Manufactured in 1940. Single steel bead sight, standard barrel markings, Winchester "WP" proofs on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech, 3 inch chamber, and a full choke. Fitted with an 18 groove, round slide handle and pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester hard rubber buttplate. The stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inch; drop at heel 2 1/4 inch; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine. 70% original blue finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear, frost like surface spotting throughout, scattered small scratches, and some minor nicks. The wood is also fine with handling marks overall and impressions and scratches mostly on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
