Description:

Consisting of a toggle assembly, barrel assembly, magazine and manual extractor tool, this kit is held in a hardwood case, with the interior of the lid ink stamp numbered to match the kit, dated "1938" and stamped "eagle/swastika L", a traditional inspection/acceptance marking for Nazi-era German police equipment. Kits such as this would typically be issued to a unit for training purposes, allowing officers to refine their pistol skills with low cost 5.4mm ammunition and convenient indoor gallery ranges. The "L" stamp is repeated on the breechblock, with crown "B" and "U" proofs on the barrel.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish overall, showing some mild wear and handling marks. Some brazing is visible on the barrel assembly, possibly from a service-era repair. The case is good, with some mild scuffs and stains. While not tested, the kit appears to be in good order.
