A limited number of Walther HP pistols were purchased by the German Wehrmacht. The pistol has standard commercial markings and proofs and a single "eagle/359" acceptance mark on the left side of the front barrel lug. All visible serial numbers are matching. The pistol has an overall plum/red finish common on late production HP models and is fitted with serrated grips with a lanyard loop on the left side. The magazine is marked "P.38v" on the left side.

Very fine. 90% original plum/blue finish remains with some light edge wear, handling marks overall, distinct markings, and some light surface scratches. The grips are excellent. Mechanically excellent.
