A) Nagoya Type 14 Nambu Semi-Automatic Pistol

Description:

Manufactured in July 1928 (3.7 Showa) with standard markings and matching numbers on the frame, cocking piece, bolt, trigger, and grip panels. Includes a leather clamshell style holster with a shoulder strap, extra firing pin, and cleaning rod. The inside of the flap is marked with five untranslated Japanese characters in black ink.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 85% plus original blue finish remains with small areas of high point and muzzle wear, traces of light pitting around the muzzle, and some small traces of light surface spotting. The grips are fine with some small indentations and a circular mark from the safety lever on the left panel. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with small scrapes and scuffs on the exterior, tight stitching overall, and some verdigris buildup around the brass fittings.

Manufactured in April of 1930 (5.4 Showa) with standard markings and matching numbers visible on the frame, cocking piece, trigger, and inside of the grip panels. Includes a leather clamshell style holster, extra firing pin, and cleaning rod. The magazine is absent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine 80% plus original blue finish remains with patches of oxidation, light pitting visible on the barrel, traces of edge wear, and clear markings. The grips are also very fine with a few small dings, handling marks, and a mark from the safety lever on the left panel. Mechanically fine. The holster is very good with small scuffs and scratches on the exterior, some areas of absent stitching, and overall solid construction.
