A) Nagoya Type 14 Nambu Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Holster

Description:

Manufactured in July 1940 (15.7 Showa) with standard markings and matching numbers on the trigger, frame, bolt, and cocking piece. The backs of the grip panels are numbered "263" in pencil. Includes a leather clamshell type holster. The inside of the holster flap is marked "80263" over three untranslated Japanese characters in black ink.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 85% plus original blue finish remains with some scattered light surface spotting, slight muzzle wear, and a circular line on the left side of the where the safety lever rotates. The grips are also very fine with scattered small dings and pressure dents and a worn line from the safety lever. Mechanically excellent. The holster is good with scuffs and small gouges overall, tight stitching, and overall solid construction.

Manufactured in November of 1943 (Showa 18.11) with standard markings and matching numbers on the frame, trigger, bolt, cocking knob, firing pin, and grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine 85% original blue finish remains with sharp edges, clear markings, a slight plum hue overall, a mostly gray patina on the grip straps, and mild high point and edge wear. The grips are also very fine with mostly small nicks and dings. Mechanically excellent.
