Description:

This is a standard 1906 Commercial Luger pistol as manufactured by the DWM factory. The serial number range for this model was between 22,000-71000, indicating a very large number were manufactured prior to World War I. It has the fast taper barrel with fixed sights. It has the DWM monogram on the front toggle link, and has commercial "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, chamber, breech block and toggle link. Overall finish is blue, with straw finished small parts, and is fitted with a set of unnumbered checkered walnut grips. It comes with one nickel plated magazine with an unmarked wood base.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 70% of the faded blue finish overall showing edge and high spot wear with blue loss on the side plate, front frame rails with some thinning/browning on the grip straps. The smaller parts retain 30% of their straw colors overall. The grips are in good condition with heavily worn checkering on both sides, handling marks, and light pressure dents on the sides.
