This two barrel set consists of a 20 and 28 gauge. The 28 gauge set is 28 inches in length and the 20 gauge is 26 inches in length. Each set of barrels has a single red bead front sight on a matte vent rib marked "CUSTOM BUILT" , have a 3/4 inch wedge of engraving on the breech end, are choked improved cylinder/modified, have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, are numbered to the gun, are Winchester proof steel, and have jeweled flats, lugs ejectors and breech face. Each set is marked with the gauge and chamber size on the right flat and each flat is marked with the Winchester oval proof. Both share the same fancy multi-point checkered semi beaver tail walnut forearm with engraved and jeweled hardware and ebony forend insert. The forearm hardware and wood are numbered to the gun. Other than the rib marking, both sets of barrels are absent of any other markings. The 28 gauge set is marked "Ct. SHOTGUN MFG./NEW BRITAIN, CT. U.S.A." on the latch lug base. The receiver, break lever and trigger guard are nicely engraved in the 21-5 pattern with floral scroll designs, as well as game scenes. The right side of the receiver has a grouse in a field scene in an oval panel, the left side has a pheasant in a field scene, there is a hunting dog with a game bird in it's mouth on the underside and the trigger guard has a hunting dog on point. The breech face is jeweled and the cut out water table is marked with the Winchester oval proof mark. Single gold trigger with selector, tang mounted automatic safety with gold "SAFE" and mounted with a fancy bordered checkered walnut straight grip stock with a checkered bare butt and gold initial oval. The set is complete in a wood and hard leather Winchester takedown case with brass corner protectors, leather straps and handle, Winchester Model 21 label on the inside of the lid and maroon felt lining. In the case are two bright brass snap caps for each gauge. Barrel and stock dimensions are: 28 gauge bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .550/.550 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .035/.035 inch; 20 gauge bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .615/.615 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0475/.0475 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% plus original blue finish remaining, showing a very small ding on the left rear of the 28 gauge barrels, and overall only light handling/storage marks. The are a few very minor dings and pressure dents on the stock and all of the checkering is sharp. The engraving is sharp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good plus with a few minor scuffs and scratches on the exterior, the inside lid label is partially detached and there is some very mild contact wear.
