Manufactured in 1948. Has a nickel beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel has the second style inscription along with the "W/P" proofmark at the breech end. The proofmark is also stamped on the top front of the receiver. The round barrel Model 61 chambered for .22 W.R.F. was only produced between 1947 and 1950. Mounted on a 17 groove flat bottom walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine, 70% plus of the faded, thin original blue finish remains with some cycling wear, some scattered minor freckling and some patches of minor pitting on the guard assembly. The wood is fine with scattered dings, scratches and wear. Mechanically excellent.
