Only approximately 5,700 of these rifles were manufactured between 1933 and 1947 (with most being in 218 Bee caliber). Manufactured between 1939 and 1942 according to the book "Winchester For Over A Century" by Bill West. Features a half magazine, beaded blade front sight with hood, and an adjustable rear sporting sight,. The barrel and upper tang have standard markings. The Winchester oval proofs are on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. It is mounted on a smooth stock with a checkered shotgun buttplate.

Very fine with 98% of the original blue finish with light handling marks and scratches, with the right side of the receiver is mottling to a smooth silver patina. The revarnished wood is also very fine with minor pressure dents and a repair to the sling stud hole on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
