Manufactured in 1941. Standard Winchester markings including factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, hooded ramp front and elevation adjustable rear sights, early cloverleaf tang receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting, pre-war safety, polished bolt numbered to gun, sling swivels and checkered pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The barrel and receiver retain 98% original blue finish with a couple of tool-like marks near the base of the rear sight. The trigger guard is refinished. The refinished stock is also very fine showing the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
