Description:

Beaded blade front and flip up rear notch sights with a "H. AUG. STRACKE, BOCHUM" retailer marking and standard maker's marks. 2 3/4 inch chambers, single extractor, and modified/improved modified chokes. The receiver and side locks feature floral and scroll engraving, cocking indicators, Greener style side safety, and a tang mounted safety/selector switch. Checkered forearm and stock with engraved steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, engraved cartridge trap, and a vented rubber recoil pad. The barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .647/.650 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0515/.05 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine. 70% original thinning blue finish remains on the barrels with scattered spotting, light pitting and dings around the muzzle, high point and edge wear, and clear markings. The receiver has a mottled silver/gray patina, light spotting, and oxidation on the trigger guard. The wood is fine as freshened with scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent.
