Manufactured by J.P. Sauer & Son of Germany for the Charles Daly brand. Beaded blade front and flip up rear notch sights with "J.P. SAUER & SON" marked on both shotgun barrels. Standard proofs on the barrel flats and water table. 2 9/16 inch chambers, improved cylinder/full chokes, "CHARLES DALY" marked side plates with light scroll engraving, knurled break lever and left side mounted cocking lever for the rifle barrel, tang mounted safety, and a flip up peep sight on the upper tang. Checkered forearm and stock with a blank initial oval, and solid recoil pad. The stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/4 inches; drop at heel 3 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches.

Very good as professionally refinished and wood freshened. 99% of the blue finish remains on the barrels with some slightly softened edges on the rib, clear markings, and light handling marks overall. The receiver has been nickeled and slightly softened. The engraving remains clear. The stock and forearm have crisp checkering and are very well-fitted to the receiver. Mechanically very good.
