Manufactured in 1891 as a third model. The rifle has dovetail front and elevation adjustable rear sights, dust cover with rear serrations, standard Winchester markings and smooth straight grip stock featuring a crescent buttplate (without compartment).

Very good. The rifle retains 30% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The wood is good with a couple of minor gouges, a small sliver of wood missing near the lower tang and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Dings are visible around the breech of the barrel. Mechanically fine.
