Famed barrel-smith Harry M. Pope worked with Stevens c. 1901-1903. Features a false muzzle and wooden ramrod, adjustable globe front sight, rear scope mounting bases, Stevens-Pope markings on top of the barrel, "4.565" ahead of the forearm on the bottom, "1" and "1951" on the bottom of the barrel, a J.W. Sidle side mounted scope numbered "2548," fine factory scroll engraving, matching serial numbers

Very fine with 95% plus of the period custom refinished blue on the barrel, 70% plus original case colors, a few minor scratches, and general handling and storage marks. The wood has crisp checkering, some small scratches, and minor edge wear. Mechanically excellent. The scope is a little foggy but has the crosshairs. The exterior of the tube is very fine with most of the blue.
