Manufactured in 1941. Adjustable blade and notch sights, with "THE WOODSMAN" on the side of the frame, Colt two line address and patent dates on top of barrel and standard markings on the left side of the slide. Fully checkered walnut grips and all blue Woodsman marked magazine. Complete with hinged lid Colt box numbered to the gun, bore brush, and papers.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with a few light handling marks and limited minor spotting. There are a few scattered patches of minor pitting on the slide, muzzle, and back strap. The grips are also excellent with a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. The action is excellent. The box is good with a couple minor tears and some seam separation with staining on the bottom. The inside of the box lid is hand marked "Property/of/Frank H Williams/1958" in blue ink and "Patches (chaining) / 3/4" x 1"" in pencil.
