Dual bead sights, on the finely matted rib inscribed "CHARLES DALY DIAMOND QUALITY" in fine gold inlay with 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, Witten Excelsior steel barrels, and fine scroll engraved accents at the breech. Masterfully executed broad leafy floral scroll and game scene engraving on the receiver with brilliant gold inlaid birds on the sides, and a hunting dog on the underside. Standard German proofs on the water table and barrel flats with the "HAL/crossed pistols" Lindner maker's mark on the bottom of each barrel. Dual triggers and tang mounted safety switch. Checkered forearm with ebony tip insert, and matching engraved fittings, pistol grip stock with checkered tear drop flats, hard rubber grip insert, silver initial oval, and vented White Line recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .719/.720 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .05/.05 inch; drop at comb 1 7/8 inches; drop at heel 3 1/4 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches; 1/4 inch cast off; 7 lbs. 9.4 oz.

Very fine. The period refinished barrels retain 99% of the blue finish, light handling marks and areas of mild pitting and dings visible under the blue. The receiver has been cleaned causing loss of detail in some areas including the gold inlays. The wood has well defined checkering, dings and pressure dents throughout, added recoil pad, and some small chips along the lower tang. Mechanically excellent. Note: the barrel has been shortened.
