Fancy checkered splinter forearm and stock with a silver initial oval inscribed "EW" and a solid recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .729/.729 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .060/.060 inch; drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Fine. Barrels have an overall mottled blue/gray patina with strong Damascus patterning, visible markings, small dings throughout, and some light spotting. Traces of original case colors remain on the receiver with a gray patina on the balance, crisp engraving, and handling marks overall. The wood has small dings and some larger pressure dents throughout, well defined though bruised checkering, and cracking on the pad. Mechanically excellent.
