Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with the rear sight base doubling as the mounting point for a ZF-41/1 scope, marked "eso/+" and fitted with front and rear sunshields, and secured in an "eagle/214" marked mount. The receiver is marked "Mod.98/byf 45" on the front ring, with a matching numbered phosphate-finished bolt and assorted "Nazi eagle" proofs. The stamped trigger guard and floorplate are both "byf" and "eagle/135" marked and phosphate finished, with a milled front barrel band and a stamped mid band. The stock is stamped with an "*/C" on the underside and "eagle/WaA135" on the right, with a brown leather sling and a cupped buttplate. Also included with the rifle is a metal scope case, tan painted with a green canvas belt loop, felt lined interior, and "WaA542" on the lid.

Excellent, with 95% of the combination phosphate/blue finish, showing some light spotting and handling marks overall along with a few areas of brown patina on the front band and sight cover, with the bolt and trigger guard showing a very fine gray phosphate color. The stock is also excellent, with a split forming on the right side near the receiver, scattered dings and light scuffs. The scope shows some light wear, with the front sunshield having lost tension in it's retention spring and slightly hazy optics with solid reticle. Mechanically excellent.
