Other highly ornate firearms with gilded brass fittings, various hunting scenes, elaborate scrollwork, and finely carved stocks by Knod are known. He was one of the most talented Carlsbad school arms makers catering to the nobility who visited the Bohemian spa town.

Rating Definition:

Very good as period converted to percussion with 20% of the original gold finish in the protected areas, attractive aged patina on the brass, and fairly bright lock with minor pitting. The designs throughout and the markings remain crisp. The stock is very good with a crack in the wrist, distinct carving, some nice figure, and minor dings. Mechanically fine.
