Manufactured in 1902, with a half moon blade front sight and the signature combination notch rear sight and safety switch; most examples of the Model 1900 seen today were altered to replace the safety sight with a more conventional fixed notch. The matching number slide is fitted with the front serrations and marked with the two line, two block patent and address markings ahead of a circled rampant Colt and a set of "crown/GP" and "crown/V" proofs, indicating that the pistol passed through the London Proof House at some point. The trigger and grip screws are niter blue, and a casehardened spur hammer and rest sight. The grips are checkered and have Colt banners and impressed Rampant Colt designs, and the correct magazine is nickel finished with 1894 patent markings.

Very fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scattered dings and handling marks. 50% of the original case colors remain on the hammer and sight safety. 60% of the bright original nitre blue remains on trigger, screws, and pins. The grips are fine, with a few small dents. Mechanically excellent.
