This is a beautiful as new example of one of the Jubilee series, "Gold Edition" AK-74 semi-automatic rifles produced by the Izhevsk factory and imported by the Arsenal Inc company. This specific example celebrated both Mikhal Kalashnikov 90th birthday and the 35th anniversary of the development and fielding of the "Ak-74" series of rifles. There were a total of 500 of the Jubilee series rifles manufactured; 400 Silver Edition and only 100 Gold Edition rifles ever produced with this specific rifle serial numbered "0023". They were immediately sold to collectors and museums and are very difficult to find for sale today. These rifles featured all hand selected parts that were given a high polished finish that was then coated with the glossy black baked on outer finish. The right side has gold high-lighted lettering, with a gold colored complete bolt and bolt carrier group, trigger, magazine release and rear sight elevator. These were shipped in a cordovan colored, leather bound "Presentation Grade" display case with a dark red felt interior, two leather slings, two polymer AK74 magazines (a 10 and 30 round) certificate of authenticity, and a pair of white gloves.
