Manufactured in the early 19th century with a low blade front sight, London private proofs, "Ketland/& Co." on the lock, gold vent liner, shell carving on the upper tang, fine German silver fittings, and light floral engraving.

Very good with dark brown patina and minor spotting on the iron, light aging of the furniture, small hairline crack at the rear lock screw, minor nicks and scratches, a few small chips, and a darker tone on the left flat. Mechanically fine.

Marked "S/BEAVER" on the lock and "GARNAULT" on top of the barrel. A "*/RW" hallmark is between the London private proofs on the barrel. It has martial and Masonic style patterns, some scroll accents, and a grotesque mask pommel.

Good with some mild oxidation, aged patina on the brass, a few minor repairs on the otherwise good stock, and minor scratches and marks. Mechanically fine.
