The basic Sea Service pattern was used from the mid-18th century into the early 19th century by the Royal Navy around the globe including during the French & Indian War, American Revolution, and War of 1812. There are small government markings throughout, "LONDON" in the side plate inlet, no sights, belt hook, raise flat around the barrel tang, and swelled pommel.

Very good with bright metal, light pitting and various minor scratches and marks. The refinished stock has a minor tension crack in the left flat at the rear lock screw and minor dings. Mechanically fine.
