Manufactured by Durs Egg's shop around the time of his death in 1831. "->>D. EGG LONDON<<-" is marked on top of the ribs, and they are engraved with detailed scroll engraving. They are equipped with fixed post and notch sights, swivel mounted ramrods, and dual triggers. The finely checkered grips have silver thumb plates, and cap boxes are in the butts. They come in a modern custom made period style case with a powder flask, bore rod, nipple wrench, screwdriver, oiler, cap tin, and key.

Very fine as period refinished with 95% plus blue and casehardened finish, aged patina on the silver, slight oxidation, and minor edge wear. The grip is also very fine and has some minor dings in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
