Description:

Fitted with a globe and pin front sight on a octagon barrel with "Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874" stamped on the top flat followed by the caliber notation. The rear sight dovetail on the barrel is empty. The vibrantly casehardened Big Timber, Montana, marked action features double set triggers and an adjustable mid-range peep sight mounted on the upper tang. Mounted on a nicely figured smooth Schnabel tip forearm and straight grip stock with a raised cheekpiece and a shotgun plastic buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel retains 10% of the original blue with the balance an artificial gray patina. The receiver retains 80% of the original case colors with minor scattered scratches. The wood is good with scattered scratches, dings, and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
