Description:

These traveler's pistols date to around the 1830s and have converted flintlocks marked "COLLINS," post and notch sights, "COLLINS LONDON" on top of the barrels, swivel mounted ramrods, platinum banded breech plugs, sliding half-cock safeties, traditional engraving, silver wedge and thumb plates, and checkered wrists.

Rating Definition:

Very good with traces of the original finish, attractive faded Damascus patterns, some light pitting, fairly crisp markings and checkering, and various marks and scratches. Mechanically fine.

Rating Definition:

Very good with faint original brown finish and faded Damascus patterns along the lightly pitted barrel, hints of original case colors on the lock, 40% original blue on the trigger guard, aged patina on the silver, crisp checkering and markings, and general dings, marks, and scratches. Mechanically needs work (mainspring broken).
