It has "SOISSON L'AYNE/A GRENOBLE" on the lightly engraved bridleless lock, gold accents along the barrel, a blade front sight, silver thumb plate, Baroque carving, and two dogs chasing an elk on the side plate.

Very good with dark patina and oil staining on the metal, light pitting, 30% of the original gold, repaired and refinished stock with fairly crisp carving, and dark aged patina on the silver thumb plate.

Features "Moine Jeune/A Niort" in a panel at the center of the engraved lock which has no pan/frizzen bridle (Moine the Younger of Niort, France), similar marking in gold on the top of the barrel along with other golden accents, blade front sight, and attractive Rococo raised relief carving on the stock and engraving and cast designs on the silver furniture which have what appear to be deer head hallmarks.

Good with dark brown patina and minor pitting on the iron, 50% of the original gold, dark aged patina on the silver, sunken pommel tendrils, repaired cracks on the forend, and some chips and dings.
