Manufactured by Eugene Lefaucheux around the mid-1850s to early-1860s. It features a post front sight on a high base, "E. Lefaucheux a Paris" on the top of the barrel and relief scroll and floral designs throughout, hammer groove rear sight, the "revolver/LF" trademark on the right side of the frame behind the serial number, "7" and "M" on the rear cylinder face and "7 M" on the loading gate, and silver grip washers.

Very good overall with 70% period replated silver, aged patina, gray patina and some pitting on the balance, and various marks and scratches. The grips have some mild scratches and dings and patches of varnish remaining. Mechanically fine, but the loading gate is loose due to a weak spring catch.
