Blade front and notch rear sights, with a pair of gold inlaid Japanese script symbols behind the rear sight. Brass lock with exposed spring and sear, touchhole cover, pipe guard and skeletonized trigger. Smooth mahogany stock, with a replacement ramrod, engraved brass plates on the underside near the ramrod and ahead of the lock, with the contoured wrist/ butt.

Very good plus. A mixed brown and gray patina is visible on the barrel, with a few minor handling marks and small areas of spotting. The brass has taken on a fine aged patina, and the stock shows some mild pressure dents and very small areas of varnish loss. Action is very good.
