These were the final U.S. flintlock pistols and are considered by many to be the finest. Some were used into the Civil War era after being converted to percussion. This example is dated "1842" on the lock and has the standard markings and features.

Fine. The lock, barrel band, trigger guard, and back strap have been refurbished and heat blued. There is some light spotting along the barrel. The stock is very fine and has crisp cartouches and minor marks. Mechanically excellent.
