Brass cone front and frame notch rear sights, with "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS . ILION NEW YORK.U.S.A./NEW-MODEL" on the top flat of the barrel, and single letter sub-inspection marks on the left flat, left side of the frame, cylinder and on the underside of the grips. Brass trigger guard and smooth 2-piece grips with "RH" cartouche.

Very fine, with 60% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of mixed brown patina, bright edge wear, light spotting and handling marks, along with a small amount of pitting. The brass shows an attractive aged mustard color patina. The grips are excellent with sharp raised feathered grain and excellent plus cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
