Description:

An estimated 20,000 of these revolvers were manufactured from 1861 to 1865, and more than half were purchased under contract by the U.S. government. It has the standard markings and features and no visible government inspection marks.

Rating Definition:

Good with crisp edges; dark brown patina and a coat of varnish overall, mild edge wear, some dings and scratches, and light pitting/oxidation. The sanded and re-oiled grips are slightly undersized, and have chips and edge wear. Mechanically fine.
