Description:

The Starr Model 1858 Army and Navy revolvers were among the few double action revolvers of the Civil War. Starr revolvers as a group were the third most widely used after only Colt and Remington. This example has standard blade and groove sights, standard factory markings, small single letter inspection marks, and inspector cartouches on both sides of the grip.

Rating Definition:

Very good with an overall brown blend of patina and oil staining, some minor oxidation/pitting, and general mild marks and dings. The grip is fine with crisp cartouches, mild handling and edge wear. Mechanically fine.
