Manufactured in 1869 with a single screw on the upper tang, a saddle ring mounted on the left side of the receiver and the serial number stamped behind the trigger. The aftermarket engraving consists of floral motifs and a circle panel buffalo scene on the left side of the receiver. The barrel has the two-line Henry's/King's patent marking. Fitted with a front sight integral to the front barrel band and two leaf rear sight. The buttplate tang is also engraved. Mounted on highly figured and checkered forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate featuring a trapdoor (cleaning rod not included).

Fine as custom upgraded/embellished. The barrel and magazine have a mottled artificial brown-gray patina with some minor pitting. The barrel marking has been remarked. The receiver and buttplate have an attractive patina. The wood has a missing minor chip near the buttplate tang, a few age cracks and some minor pressure dents and scratches. The added checkering is crisp overall. Mechanically excellent.
