Manufactured in the 1830s to 1840s. It has post and notch sights, German silver forend cap, wedge escutcheons, acorn thumb plate, and engraved butt cap; floral engraving on the lock, trigger guard, and tang; and a triple line diamond checkered stock.

Rating Definition:

Very good with mild aging of the brass and German silver, dark gray-brown patina on the lock, barrel rib, and trigger guard; some light oxidation, a few dings and light surface scratches on the fine stock, crisp checkering, and minor handling and storage type marks throughout. The lock will not lock up at half-cock but is otherwise mechanically fine.
