Manufactured in 1928. The barrel has the two-line Hartford address on top and the caliber designation on the left side, and the frame has the two-line patent marking with the Rampant Colt on the left side. Matching numbers are found on the frame, grip straps and both grip panels. The cylinder has the last two digits, "00", of the serial number stamped on the rear face.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 80% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina and some cycling marks on the cylinder. There is cold blue touch up visible on the back strap. 85% original case colors remain on the hammer and frame with a couple areas of very light pitting. The grips are also fine with a small surface chip missing from the bottom, a few minor dings and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
