An estimated fewer than 1,000 of these No. 3 Match rifles were manufactured. This example is a "B" quality gun with fancy select grain wood, nickel plated forend tip, multi-point checkered forearm and wrist, larger cheek rest, and nickel plated Swiss buttplate. It has the standard markings, a windage adjustable globe front sight, rear sight filler block, mid-range Vernier peep sight, and double set triggers.

Very good as partially refinished with most of the custom blue on the barrel, 30% of the fading original case colors, and gray and brown patina on the balance along with some slight spotting. The wood is fine and has crisp checkering and minor handling and storage type marks. Mechanically excellent. Additional Information: the barrel has been relined, and the bore is excellent, current caliber is a 32-40 WCF.
