Manufactured in 1947. Dual bead sights, standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, ejector, and improved modified choke. The receiver is unsigned and features broad leafy engraving on a punch dot background with gold inlaid game bird scenes on the sides (woodcock and pheasant), and the Ithaca eagle logo and legend on the underside. Fancy checkered forearm with ebony tip insert and Fleur De Lis checkered buttstock with a hard rubber grip cap, gold initial oval, and vented Ithaca recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .742 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .06 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 1 1/2 inches; length of pull 15 1/2 inches; 8 pounds 4.8 ounces.

Excellent. 95% plus original blue finish remains with a few light handling marks and faint surface scratches on the barrel. 90% original slightly muted case colors remain with crisp engraving, some small areas of silver/gray patina, and thinning on the blued tang. The exceptionally fine wood has crisp checkering, some light crazing on the forearm, and some small scattered dents on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
