Fully engraved receiver with "ANSLEY H. FOX" on the sides in banners and a two quail on the underside, dual triggers and tang mounted safety switch. Checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings, pistol grip stock, and checkered Fox buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .731/.731 inch; wall thickness .034/.034 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 3/4 inches.

Fine. 95% original blue finish remains with some mild edge wear, small surface scratches and handling marks overall. 70% original case colors remain with some areas of a smooth gray patina, sharp engraving, refinished trigger guard, and marring on the trigger guard screw. The wood is fine with small dings and dents throughout, a small crack on the bottom of the forearm, and lightly sanded and oiled buttstock with freshened checkering. Mechanically the action functions properly but the barrels are separating at the muzzle.
