TITANIC STEEL" re-engraved marking on the rib. Standard "D" grade engraving of hunting dogs on the sides (setter on the right pointer on the left), four pheasants on the underside, and broad flowing scroll on the balance. Single selective trigger and tang mounted automatic thumb safety. Fancy checkered beavertail forearm and stock with a Parker Brothers hard rubber grip cap, silver initial oval, and leather faced solid rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .739/.737 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .035/.037 inch; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull. With leather takedown case and three-piece wood cleaning rod.

Very fine. 97% refurbished blue finish remains with sharp markings and a few light handling marks on the barrels. 60% original case colors remain with sharp engraving, mild high point and edge wear, and a slightly mottled gray patina on the underside. The trigger guard is refinished. The reoiled wood has well-defined checkering, scattered small dings, age cracks on the pad. Mechanically excellent. Case is fair with scuffs and dings throughout, broken handle, and age cracks on the straps.
